I'm very excited to have you write for me and I hope you have fun with whatever we are matched on. That is the most important thing! Please follow your muse.
I have broad tastes: I think my favorite kind of fic is hurt/comfort but I like a lot of things: slice of life stories, intense emotional romance, PWP, humor, kink, crack, AUs, casefic...I'm A-OK with A/B/O.
I am squicked out by rape and scat (references to canon rape are ok). I strongly dislike soulmate fic (accidental soulbond is ok) and grad school AUs but that's more of a taste preference than a squick.
Fandom 1: World Wrestling Entertainment
I am a big fan of the Four Horsewomen of NXT (http://wefightonfridaynight.tumblr.com/post/127361341481/the-four-horsewomen-of-nxt
) and any combination thereof. I feel like an enemies-to-friends-to-lovers story would work well here, or a "we have to pretend to hate each other for kayfabe purposes but we are actually falling in love" kind of thing. I recommend watching Bayley and Sasha's recent NXT Takeover main event match and the promo videos about it if you want to write wrestling fic but you're not super up on current storylines with these people.
The idea of Stephanie McMahon and Triple H acting as romantic matchmakers as well as booking wrestling matches makes me smile.
Kayfabe or non-kayfabe fics are both fine!
Fandom 2: Crossovers
I nominated some crossovers I'm really excited about. Some are cracky, some are not, but just be aware that crack/humor/explicit sex all in one fic is one of my favorite things to both read and write. What follows is NOT a ranking but just some thoughts about these different ones--I like them all equally.
Rosa Diaz/Ann Perkins is a very sweet crossover pairing I am growing quite fond of. There are only two fics for this on the archive and one is by me.
Tammy Swanson II/Gina Linetti seems like great crack porn fodder to me--maybe they meet through Gina's dance troupe? Maybe their weirdness cancels each other out and people are surprised at how normal their relationship is?
Amy Santiago/Annie Edison: I would just like to see them try to out-over-achieve each other somehow. I would love to see how their personalities clash and or meld.
Amethyst/April Ludgate: this is crack but it just makes me happy to think about. I'm not even sure how it would work. Maybe a vacation to Beach City?
Millie/Marion Ravenwood: this one just seemed hot to me. Millie has such an intriguing/mysterious past that I wonder what it would be like if the two of them had crossed paths some time before Marion ended up in Nepal, or sometime after Raiders.
Request 3: Brooklyn Nine-Nine
I'm only requesting Rosa/Amy here. Missing scene, rivalmancy...Hogwarts AU...casefic is particularly well-suited to this fandom.
Request 4: Parks and Recreation
April/Ann: This is one of my favorite crack ships and I think any story where you can let their personalities bounce off each other is something I am interested in reading.
Leslie Knope/Tammy Swanson II: I can't imagine this being anything other than porn but whatever justification you can come up with for those two to have sex with each other, I want to read it.
Leslie Knope/Lindsay Carlisle Shay: Lindsay is Parker Posey's character who used to be Leslie's best friend before she betrayed her and moved to Eagleton. I think there is a lost love regained possibility here, or a "there's more to the story of how they stopped being friends than that she took a job in Eagleton". I've never seen this ship written about but the character only appears in one episode (Season 3, Episode 12), so even if you're not a big P&R fan it would be easy to catch up enough to write this pairing.
Request 5: Whyborne and Griffin
OK. The Whyborne and Griffin books are a Lovecraftian M/M romance series. They're amazing. One thing I love about them is that in addition to the main heroes, there are plentiful well-developed female secondary characters. Some M/M feels like it takes place in a world without women because it's so focused on the main couple, but Jordan L. Hawk never does this. I have nominated a variety of pairings of characters that I think would be interesting. You can read the first book and know who most of them are, except for one who only shows up in the second most recent book.
Anything goes here--I really want there to be more fics on the archive for this series. As of now, there are three, they're all from this year's Yuletide, and I wrote one of them.
Anyway, that's all I've got for now! Happy writing!
